Hired CarsWe urge you to go right ahead and discover Barbados' beauty and wonder with a hired self-driven car from any of the car rental companies on the island. Your options of hired cars can range from compact cars and mokes to spacious, luxurious air-conditioned vans and jeeps. Depending on how you choose to spend your time while in Barbados will be a determining factor in the type of vehicle you choose to rent. Delivery of a rented vehicle to your hotel is free of charge.
To get the car rental process on the way visitors will need to be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and be in a position to supply the car rental company with a valid drivers licence from their country of issue.
The rental cost of the vehicle is payable by way of Credit Card (VISA, AMEX or MASTER accepted or Cash with a Deposit).
The Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.) is optional.
Local drivers permit is mandatory.
