Savannah Beach Hotel
The Savannah Beach Hotel is located near the historic area and world heritage site of The Garrison. This hotel property blends modern with historical architecture and boasts 92 well-appointed rooms with all the features and fittings to create an ambiance of comfort and relaxation. Sited on the beachfront, the hotel is located near the generally pleasant, yet sometimes temperamental Drill Hall beach. The layout of the property is very pleasing to the eye, as freshwater pools and exotic palms and other plant life and foliage are scattered throughout. Options for dining are more than adequate at this central Barbados hotel. There are three restaurants, and two bars. The main restaurant, Rachel's, is located at the front of the property and provides a superb vantage point for scanning the entire property and the ocean. It is open for dining Tuesday to Saturday evening from 6:30pm There is also a beachside restaurant, Drifters, which offers more casual dining. It offers guests the opportunity to savour their breakfasts and lunch in a relaxed setting whilst taking in the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. To complement the meals, thirst-quenching beverages must be some-where close by, and the bar options at The Savannah include a swim-up bar. In this way, there is no need to interrupt one’s water therapy in order to get a drink. There are four types of room accommodation at The Savannah Hotel. These range from a standard room to the deluxe oceanfront room and they are all outfitted with the basic amenities and services (mini-refrigerator, in-room safe) to leave guests feeling that their basic needs have been satisfied. There is a spa onsite as well as a fitness room.
