Mount Hillaby

Mount Hillaby in the Scotland District of St. Andrew, Barbados is usually a source of amusement to those persons visiting from countries with mountainous terrain, but a source of pride to the persons born in the area specifically and the island as a whole.

Mount Hillaby is the highest point on the island, standing at some 1115 feet or 343 metres above sea level. It can be ascended and the view from the top is inspiring, providing a comparatively different perspective from the views from the other parts of the island. A perfect spot for nature photographers, hikers and general adventure seekers, on a clear day it provides a wide-spanning look-out of the eastern and northern parts of Barbados.
