St. Barnabas Church

St. Barnabas Church was one of the Chapel Schools. It was initially constructed in 1830 at a cost of £800.00. The hurricane of 1831 destroyed that building and the chapel was rebuilt between 1838 and 1839 with the cornerstone being laid by Bishop William Hart Coleridge. This new chapel was consecrated on 9th October, 1839.
