CoachesCoaches in Barbados or tour buses as they are familiarly known, are used to carry passengers on private tours or excursions. They are also used to tour throughout Barbados showing visitors places of interest. They also cater to large groups going to functions, sporting events and even bridal parties for weddings.
Modern day coaches are completely different to what they were yesteryear. The coaches of yesteryear were carriages with horses pulling them along and they would usually carry two (2) passengers and the riders of these carriages. Mostly the rich and powerful were the passengers or sometimes owners of these coaches.
In Barbados our coaches come equipped with air condition, wheel chair access, overhead storage for luggage and some with televisions. There's a designated area for you to store luggage and very comfortable seats with some of them being able to recline.
