PaediatricsThe branch of medicine that deals specifically with the study of diseases in children is called paediatrics. Paediatricians are doctors whose proficiencies are targeted at focusing directly on disorders in babies, children and adolescents.
As children mature, disease management throws an interesting element on the whole topic of paediatrics. This branch of medicine has proven itself not only challenging but rewarding as a paediatrician can easily work with a baby and see it through to its teenage years.
